Abstract
V diplomski nalogi sem predstavil primerjavo med mikrocementnim in epoksidnim sistemom z namenom ugotoviti, kateri izmed njiju bolje ščiti betonske površine v različnih pogojih. Eksperimentalno sem preizkusili mehanske lastnosti, paroprepustnost, oprijem na podlago ter odpornost proti kemikalijam. Rezultati kažejo, da epoksidni sistem v večini lastnosti bistveno presega mikrocement, zlasti v trdoti, odpornosti proti obrabi in oprijemljivosti. Mikrocementni sistem pa izstopa po visoki paroprepustnosti. Na podlagi ugotovitev lahko zaključim, da je za tehnično zahtevnejša okolja epoksidni sistem bolj ustrezna izbira.

Title:Comparison of the physical and chemical properties of microcement and epoxy-polyurethane coating systems
Abstract:
In this thesis, I presented a comparison between a microcement system and an epoxy system in order to determine which one provides better protection for concrete surfaces under various conditions. I experimentally tested mechanical properties, water vapor permeability, adhesion to the substrate, and chemical resistance. The results show that the epoxy system significantly outperforms microcement in most properties, especially in terms of hardness, abrasion resistance, and adhesion. However, the microcement system stands out for its high vapor permeability. Based on the findings, I conclude that the epoxy system is a more suitable choice for technically demanding environments. epoksid, mikrocement, poliuretan, vodni sistemi
