In my thesis, I explore the development of feminism through its various waves and theoretical branches, including radical, liberal, marxist, socialist, and psychoanalytic feminism. In the empirical part of the thesis, I examine the understanding of feminism and attitudes towards it among two generations of respondents from Ljubljana and Grosuplje areas. The main aim of the research is to determine what attitudes people in Slovenia have towards feminism and whether they believe it still plays a relevant role in contemporary society.
