Nisi sam : idejna zasnova bivalnih tipologij za osebe z duševno motnjo na območju kareja ob Ambroževem trgu

Vse pomembnejša postaja vključenost ranljivih skupin v mestu, še posebej ljudi z duševnimi motnjami. Z naraščanjem števila ljudi z osebno stisko, osamljenih, duševno bolnih itd., se kaže pomanjkanje raznolikih bivalnih možnosti v središču mesta. V projektu raziskujem alternativne oblike bivanja izven institucionalih okvirov, razvijam rešitve, ki spodbujajo inkluzivnost in temeljijo na kolektivnem bivanju. S pojavom gentrifikacije je mnogo ljudi bilo stigmatiziranih iz mestnega središča, stanovanjska kriza pa ni pripomogla k vrnitvi posameznika nazaj v družbo. Projekt ponuja nove možnosti življenja z duševno motnjo, ljudi ne zapre v psihiatrične bolnišnice, klinike, centre, temveč uči mesto kako živeti z motnjo. Hkrati uči vse prebivalce, da so ljudje z duševno stisko njim enaki in ne rabijo postati “outsiderji” družbe. Mesto je namenjeno ljudem, ne komercialnim vsebinam, je dom za vse.

• Title: You are not alone : case study of residential typologies for people with mental health disorders in the area of Ambrož Square

Abstract

The inclusion of vulnerable groups in cities, particularly people with mental health issues, is becoming increasingly important. As the number of individuals experiencing personal distress, loneliness, and mental illness rises, the lack of diverse housing options in city centers becomes more evident. This project explores alternative living arrangements outside of institutional settings, developing solutions that promote inclusivity and are based on collective living. With the rise of gentrification, many people have been marginalized and pushed out of city centers, while the housing crisis has further hindered their reintegration into society. The project offers new ways of living with mental health issues, moving away from psychiatric hospitals, clinics, and centers, and instead teaching people how to live with their condition. It also educates city residents that people with mental health issues are equal members of society and should not be treated as outsiders. The city is for people, not just for commercial purposes; it is a home for everyone.
