The diploma thesis focuses on the development of an innovative mobile application for playing tarok, a popular card game. The initial problem is the
lack of accessible and user-friendly digital platforms that provide an engaging
and seamless tarok playing experience. Using the modern Expo framework,
a cross-platform mobile application with an intuitive interface was developed, enabling online play with other players. The main contribution is a
comprehensive application that preserves the traditional elements of tarok
while introducing modern technological solutions, enhancing the game’s accessibility and appeal. The application has been exceptionally well-received
by players, primarily due to the inclusion of competitive features such as
rankings, leaderboards, and achievements, which foster competitiveness and
motivate players.
