Women fought for their rights in many areas. From political rights to reproductive rights. In this work we will focus on the role of women and the historical women's struggle of the 19th century. When, why and in what way did women fight for their rights. We will place special emphasis on the period of the beginning of industrialization, when the previously known role of women changed. During this period in addition to household chores and motherhood, women also entered the labor market, industrialization and the social sphere. Through an analysis that will be based on the context of family and tradition, we will answer the questions of who a worker is and how she came to be. Wage work was something new with the Industrial Revolution, compared to the already familiar domestic work. The aforementioned changes in women's lives also led to her new role, both in economic and social terms. In the second part we will explore how the 19th century contributed to women's emancipation. Who is the new woman and what is her role?
