In this master's thesis, we discuss a construction engineering company that has experienced rapid growth in the past three years, both in terms of the number of employees and financial revenues. Alongside this growth, the company faces various challenges related to managing the rapid development, particularly in the areas of organization, optimization of business processes, and the implementation of information technology. In the thesis, we present the company, its six established areas, and the functions of individuals operating within them. In addition to the organizational structure, we provide a detailed description of existing business processes and the use of information technology. Based on a comprehensive insight into the current operations of the company, we highlight the main challenges and issues the company encounters in executing business processes. In line with these challenges, we propose suggestions for optimization, focusing primarily on the implementation of information technology in currently non-digitized business processes, as well as how existing information technology could be better utilized and expanded across various treated areas. With the help of the proposed advanced technological solutions, we demonstrate the possibility of optimization, so that the company will not only keep pace with the direction of Construction 4.0, but will actively leverage the advantages of digitalization to achieve higher productivity, enhanced analytics, and reduced errors in project execution.
