In the thesis, we designed a conceptual framework for the brochure Poročni informator. The the thesis aimed to create a guide or brochure for newlyweds, Poročni informator. The work includes a description of the essential graphic elements. Based on the appearance of the brochure, we first set objectives and hypotheses.
In the theoretical part, we first examined the essential graphic elements, such as typography, which plays an important role in the brochure. We distinguished between the readability and legibility of fonts, making the selection of an appropriate typeface crucial. Furthermore, we conducted a comparison between a brochure and a publication. We also covered the importance of a unified visual identity, as the brochure was designed following the client's corporate identity. Emphasis was placed on current trends in wedding stationery design.
In the experimental part, we described the working methods and materials used and introduced the company or client. This is followed by an analysis of color usage, typography, and the principles we had to follow in designing Poročni informator. We also presented brochure drafts, aimed at improving the initial hypotheses. The analytical part includes a comparative survey of the designed pages of our version of Poročni informator with previous issues, through which we confirmed or disproved the set hypotheses.
