Abstract
V sodobnem času digitalizacije so mobilne aplikacije postale ključni pripomoček za načrtovanje in organizacijo potovanj. Namen magistrskega dela je izdelati prototip mobilne aplikacije za organizacijo potovanj, ki bo vseboval uporabniku prijazen in vizualno privlačen vmesnik v skladu z načeli uporabniško usmerjenega oblikovanja, kar zagotavlja prilagoditev dejanskim potrebam uporabnikov. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili pojem mobilna aplikacija, njene vrste in postopek načrtovanja. Poglobili smo se v uporabniško izkušnjo, ključna načela pri oblikovanju uporabniške izkušnje in metode. Raziskali smo tudi pojem uporabniški vmesnik in gestalt principe pri oblikovanju le tega. Opredelili smo še uporabniško usmerjeno oblikovanje in oblikovalsko mišljenje. V praktičnem delu smo najprej izvedli analizo obstoječega stanja aplikacij za organizacijo potovanj na tržišču. Nato smo izvedli anketo s pomočjo orodja Google Forms. Na ta način smo vključili uporabnike in pridobili vpogled v njihove želje in potrebe glede aplikacije. Na podlagi tega smo izbrali ciljni skupini in izdelali dve personi. Sledila je izdelava informacijske arhitekture in žičnih modelov. Za izdelavo prototipa smo uporabili orodje Figma, ki omogoča učinkovito oblikovanje in vrednotenje uporabniških vmesnikov. Sledilo je še oblikovanje uporabniškega vmesnika. Ustvarili smo dve različici prototipa, na katerih smo izvedli formativno vrednotenje, ki je pokazalo, da je bila druga različica prototipa boljša. To različico smo nato uporabili za končno vrednotenje. Za vrednotenje uporabniške izkušnje smo uporabili validirane vprašalnike UEQ in SUS ter izvedli še zaključni intervju o splošnem vtisu aplikacije. Vrednotenje z udeleženci je potrdilo, da smo uspešno ustvarili prototip aplikacije z dobro uporabniško izkušnjo in razumljivim ter intuitivnim uporabniškim vmesnikom. Rezultat magistrskega dela je razvit prototip mobilne aplikacije za organizacijo potovanj, ki izboljšuje preglednost in olajšuje organizacijo potovanj. Prototip vključuje ključne funkcionalnosti, kot so sledenje stroškom, shranjevanje pomembnih dokumentov (npr. letalskih vozovnic), vnaprej pripravljen seznam osnovnih potrebščin za pakiranje in možnost ustvarjanja načrta potovanja z aktivnostmi.

Title:Designing a mobile application prototype for travel organization
Abstract:
In the modern era of digitalization, mobile applications have become a key tool for planning and organizing trips. The purpose of this master's thesis was to create a prototype of a mobile application for travel organization, featuring a user-friendly and visually appealing interface designed in accordance with the principles of user-centered design, ensuring adaptation to the actual needs of users. In the theoretical part, the concept of mobile applications, their types, and the planning process were presented. A deeper analysis was conducted on user experience, key principles in user experience design, and related methods. Additionally, the thesis explored the concept of user interfaces and Gestalt principles in their design. The study also defined user-centered design and design thinking. In the practical part, an analysis of the existing state of travel organization applications on the market was first conducted. This was followed by a survey using Google Forms to involve users and gain insight into their desires and needs regarding the application. Based on this, two target groups were selected, and two personas were created. Subsequently, the information architecture and wireframes were developed. The Figma tool was used for prototyping, enabling efficient design and testing of user interfaces. The next step was designing the user interface. We created two versions of the prototype, on which we conducted formative evaluation, which showed that the second version of the prototype was better. This second version was then used for the final evaluation. To assess the user experience, we utilized validated UEQ and SUS questionnaires and conducted a final interview regarding the overall impression of the application. The evaluation with participants confirmed that we successfully created a prototype of the application with a good user experience and a clear, intuitive user interface. The result of this master's thesis is a developed prototype of a mobile application for travel organization, enhancing clarity and simplifying trip organization. The prototype includes key functionalities such as expense tracking, storing important documents (e.g., flight tickets), a pre-prepared checklist of essential packing items, and the ability to create a travel plan with activities.
