The aim of this thesis is to outline the entire process of designing and developing a corporate visual identity for the Aurora brand, a cosmetic studio specializing in eyebrow shaping, lamination, eyelash extensions and facial care. Until now, the company did not have a unified visual identity, so the aim of this work is to create an esthetically refined identity that reflects the brand’s values of elegance, sophistication and timeless beauty.
In the first – theoretical – part, we defined the meaning of a corporate visual identity, its key elements and examples of communication materials that strongly influence the recognition of a company. We also presented best practices and analyzed competing companies in Slovenia and abroad, which served as a basis for the later development of a new corporate visual identity through artistic analysis.
In the experimental part, we first gained insight into the client's wishes and the company's vision. On this basis, we created several drafts of logos and other visual identity elements. All phases of the design process are described, including the key elements – logo, typography and color – as well as the further design of communication materials (business card, letterhead, price list …), packaging and a brand manual, all of which were developed as part of the thesis.
