This thesis focuses on the hydraulic system integrated into AB-206B type helicopters. It begins with an overview of helicopter development and the key technological advancements in the field, followed by an explanation of the necessity for hydraulic systems in larger helicopters to ensure proper operation. A comprehensive presentation of the main rotor control hydraulic system is provided, along with a separate hydraulic system dedicated to
the main rotor brake. Each component within both hydraulic systems is described in detail, including its specific function within the overall system. The hydraulic fluid used in such helicopter systems is also examined. In accordance with the ISO 1219 standard, schematic diagrams of the hydraulic systems in the helicopter under study were developed. Furthermore, a numerical model of the main hydraulic system was constructed to simulate
its operational behavior.
