Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava masno optimizacijo glavnega nosilca mostnega žerjava. Zmanjšanje mase nosilca prispeva k večji zmogljivosti, manjši porabi energije, manjši porabi materiala, manjšem ogljičnem odtisu in nižji ceni. Pri tem upoštevamo zastavljene omejitve optimizacijske naloge. To so trdnostni kriterij, deformacijski kriterij, izbočitveni kriterij in uklonski kriterij, ki so v prvem delu magistrskega dela podrobno predstavljeni, vključno s pripadajočimi enačbami. V nadaljevanju sta prikazana razvoj in opis optimizacijskega programa, ki je izdelan v programskem okolju Microsoft Excel. Z enačbami so podrobno predstavljeni vsi upoštevani kriteriji. V nadaljevanju sledi opis optimizacijskega programa, ki je izdelan v programskem okolju Microsoft Excel in vsebuje vse obravnavane omejitve. Optimizacijski program je razdeljen na podsklope, s katerimi zaporedno izvajamo več delnih optimizacij. Najprej se optimira osnovni škatlasti profil, čemur sledita optimizacija vzdolžnih reber ter optimizacija celotnega profila. Takšna struktura optimizacijskega programa omogoča vrednotenje vmesnih rezultatov. V zadnjem delu sledi predstavitev vmesnih in končnega rezultata optimizacije.

Title:Optimization of the cross-section of the box girder of an overhead crane
Abstract:
This master's thesis addresses the mass optimization of the main girder of an overhead travelling crane. Reducing the mass of the girder contributes to increased performance, lower energy consumption, reduced material usage, a smaller carbon footprint, and lower overall cost. These improvements are achieved while adhering to the defined constraints, which include strength, deformation, local buckling, and global buckling criteria. These constraints are being explained in detail in the first part of the thesis, with corresponding equations. Next, optimization program, which is written in Microsoft Excel and contains all defined constraints, is represented. Optimization program is divided in several sub steps, which allows for sequential execution of multiple partial optimizations. At first, we optimize simple box section girder, which is followed by optimization of longitudinal stiffeners and finally optimization of box section girder with longitudinal stiffeners. The final part of the thesis presents intermediate and final outcome of the optimization process.
