Abstract
Aplikacija Plickers, ki deluje kot interaktivno orodje za preverjanje znanja, omogoča takojšnje zbiranje odgovorov učencev prek QR-kod in s tem spodbuja aktivno sodelovanje, samoevalvacijo ter učitelju omogoča hitro povratno informacijo. Namen raziskave je bil preveriti uporabnost aplikacije Plickers z vidika motiviranja in usvajanja znanja kot tudi pridobiti stališča učencev do učenja z digitalno tehnologijo pri pouku gospodinjstva. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 54 učencev dveh oddelkov šestega razreda. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da so učenci v skupini, v kateri je bila uporabljena aplikacija Plickers, dosegli nekoliko boljše rezultate pri preverjanju znanja takoj po učni uri in opazno boljše rezultate na poznem testu. Učenci, ki so se učili s pomočjo aplikacije Plickers, so tudi izkazovali višjo stopnjo motiviranosti za učenje in bolj pozitivna stališča do uporabe digitalne tehnologije pri pouku v primerjavi z učenci, ki so se učili brez uvedbe učne digitalne tehnologije. Rezultati nakazujejo, da premišljeno vključevanje inovativnih digitalnih orodij v pouk lahko prispeva k večji motiviranosti učencev za delo kot tudi zagotavljanju trajnosti znanja.

Title:Testing the usability of the Plikers app in home economics lessons
Abstract:
The Plickers application, which functions as an interactive knowledge assessment tool, enables the immediate collection of student responses via QR codes, thereby encouraging active participation, self-evaluation, and providing teachers with rapid feedback. The aim of the research was to examine the usefulness of the Plickers application in terms of motivation and knowledge acquisition, as well as to gather students’ attitudes towards learning with digital technology in home economics classes. The study involved 54 sixth-grade students from two class groups. The results showed that students in the group using the Plickers application achieved slightly better results in the immediate post-lesson assessment and noticeably better results on the delayed test. Students who learned with the help of the Plickers application also demonstrated a higher level of motivation for learning and more positive attitudes towards the use of digital technology in class, compared to those who learned without the integration of digital educational technology. The findings suggest that thoughtful integration of innovative digital tools into teaching can contribute to greater student motivation as well as more sustainable knowledge retention.
