Abstract
Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na optimizacijo seizmometra, nameščenega na amaterski vremenski postaji Morsko, ki za zaznavo premikov v vertikalni osi uporablja elektromagnetno indukcijo. Poleg optimizacije in karakterizacije šumnih lastnosti sistema je v tem delu zajeta tudi zasnova vzbujalnega sistema za umerjanje instrumenta s pomočjo umerjenega pospeškometra, s katerim je bila po zaključeni optimizaciji izvedena določitev občutljivosti seizmometra. Diplomsko delo podaja tudi rezultate dolgoročnega testiranja merilne naprave in predstavi potrebne rešitve za odpravo pomanjkljivosti, ki so se tekom dolgoročnega testiranja pokazale.

Title:Optimization of the seismometer of the Morsko weather station
Abstract:
This work is focused on optimisation of a seismometer, installed on amateur weather station in Morsko, Slovenia, which uses electromagnetic induction to translate vertical movements to electrical signals. Besides optimisation and noise characterisation, the work describes an excitation system for instrument calibration using the calibrated accelerometer. The thesis at the end presents the results of long-term testing and provides necessary solutions to solve imperefections found during the instrument long-term testing.
