Abstract
V diplomski nalogi je obravnavana tema avtonomnih mornariških plovil. Predstavljeni so začetki razvoja ter ključni elementi, ki so potrebni za izgradnjo le-teh, vključno z navigacijskimi napravami in različnimi sistemi za delovanje. Zajeti so sistemi varnosti, ki se uporabljajo pri izgradnji avtonomnih plovil, s poudarkom na kibernetski varnosti, senzorjih za varno plovbo, nadzornih sistemih in tehnologiji za avtonomno vodenje. Predstavljena so tudi izbrana avtonomna mornariška plovila: civilni in vojaški primeri ter podvodni droni, kjer tudi konkretno opišemo, kako so se avtonomna plovila uporabila v vojaške namene. Diplomska naloga obravnava tudi zakonodajo s področja avtonomnosti in vključuje opise avtonomnega transporta v pomorstvu. V zaključku diplomske naloge so obravnavani pomen človeškega faktorja v avtonomnem transportu ter prihodnje usposabljanje in izobraževanje na področju pomorstva.

Title:AUTONOMOUS NAVAL VESSELS
Abstract:
The thesis addresses the topic of autonomous naval vessels. It presents the early stages of development and the key elements required for their construction, including navigation instruments and various systems that are required for operation. It covers the safety systems used in the construction of autonomous vessels, with a focus on cybersecurity, sensors for safe navigation, control systems and autonomous guidance technology. Selected autonomous naval vessels are also presented, including civilian and military examples, with specific descriptions of how autonomous vessels have been used for military purposes. The thesis also discusses legislation in the field of autonomy and includes descriptions of autonomous maritime transport. In the conclusion, the thesis examines the importance of the human factor in autonomous transport, as well as future training and education in the maritime field.
