Abstract
V magistrski nalogi je obravnavan izziv oblikovno obločnega navarjanja (WAAM) dupleks nerjavnega jekla 2205, ki se uporablja pri izdelavi velikih in kompleksnih kovinskih struktur. Osrednja tematika magistrskega dela je optimizacija procesnih parametrov, kot so vnos energije in hitrost podajanja žice, da bi dosegli čim višjo izkoriščenost materiala in zmanjšali površinsko valovitost ter zaostale napetosti na navarjenih stenah. Za reševanje teh izzivov so bili izvedeni eksperimentalni preizkusi z različnimi parametri vnosa energije. Meritve valovitosti sten in zaostalih napetosti so bile izvedene z mikroskopskimi analizami in difrakcijskimi metodami. Rezultati kažejo na to, da se z večanjem vnosa energije povečuje valovitost sten, kar negativno vpliva na njihovo mehansko stabilnost in izkoriščenost materiala. Najboljši rezultati so bili doseženi pri srednjem vnosu energije, kjer so bile zaostale napetosti in valovitost sten še vedno v sprejemljivih mejah.

Title:Properties of wire-arc additive manufacturing duplex stainless steel 2205
Abstract:
The master's thesis addresses the challenge of Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) of duplex stainless steel 2205, which is used in the production of large and complex metal structures. The central theme of the thesis is the optimization of process parameters, such as energy input and wire feed speed, to achieve the highest possible material utilization and to reduce surface waviness and residual stresses on the welded walls. To tackle these challenges, experimental tests were conducted with various heat input parameters. Measurements of wall waviness and residual stresses were performed using microscopic analyses and diffraction methods. The results indicate that increasing the energy input leads to greater wall waviness, which negatively affects mechanical stability and material utilization. The best results were achieved at medium heat input levels, where residual stresses and waviness remained within acceptable limits.
