Abstract
Glavni cilj magistrske naloge je raziskati, kakšne so jezikovne značilnosti besedil in naslovov v člankih dveh zelo pomembnih francoskih medijev, Libération in Le Figaro. Naloga analizira članke, ki so bili objavljeni na spletnih straneh omenjenih časopisnih hiš in ki govorijo o mednarodnem konfliktu v Evropi, o vojni v Ukrajini. Naloga je sestavljena iz treh delov. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljen konkreten povzetek teoretičnih vsebin, povezanih z jezikoslovjem, retoriko in stilistiko, na katerih sloni analiza. Poleg tega naloga v njem opredeljuje vlogo medijev, spleta in novinarskih besedil. Sledi analitični del, kjer je analiziranih 20 člankov iz Libération in 20 člankov iz Le Figaro. Analiza je temeljila na dveh delih. Najprej smo izvedli analizo naslovov in podnaslovov, nato še analizo samih besedil. Po analitičnem delu je zapisana primerjava rezultatov. Analiza je bila izvedena na tematski, slovnični in slogovni ravni. Raziskava se je dokopala do zanimivih rezultatov in ugotovitev. Čeprav obe časopisni hiši pišeta o enakem dogodku, uporabljata različna slogovna in retorična sredstva, s katerimi opisujeta dogajanje. Zanimivo je tudi, katerim temam novinarji obeh časopisov dajejo največ pozornosti – to je povezano tudi s politično orientacijo časopisa. Izbrani članki uporabljajo različna jezikovna sredstva, s katerimi želijo privabiti pozornost bralcev. Med njimi so posebej zanimivi slogovno zaznamovano besedišče, retorični elementi in specifične skladenjske strukture, ki oblikujejo končno sporočilo.

Title:War in Ukraine from perpective of French press: the case of journals Libération and Le Figaro
Abstract:
The main objective of this master's thesis is to research which linguistic characteristics of texts and headlines do appear in the articles of two very important French media, Libération and Le Figaro. This thesis analyses the articles published on websites of those two mentioned newspapers and which describes the international conflict in Europe, the war in Ukraine. This research is compounded of three parts. The theoretical part presents a summary of theories, related to linguistics, rhetorics and stylistics on which is based our analysis. In addition, the aim of this thesis is also to define the role of media, internet and journalistic texts. The theoretical part is followed by the analysis. Our analysis aims to analyse 20 articles published by Libération and 20 by Le Figaro. This chapter consists of two major parts. Firstly, we have executed an analysis of the headlines and subheadings appeared in the articles followed by an analysis of texts. Our analysis was carried out at the thematic, grammatical and stylistic level. After the analysis this thesis continuous to compare the results of our research. Although that the two newspaper medias report about the same political incident, they use different stylistic and rhetorical instruments to describe the event. It is interesting to note the variety of themes that the journalist describes and pay attention to – this observation is related to the political orientation of the newspaper. The corpus of articles intends to use a variety of linguistic instruments with intention to invite the reader’s attention for the story. Of particular interest among these are stylistically marked vocabulary, rhetorical elements, and specific syntactic structures that shape the final message.
