Abstract
3D-tiskalniki so stroji, ki so v zadnjem desetletju doživeli sunkovit razvoj in s tem omogočili posameznikom njihovo uporabo. Pri 3D-tiskalnikih z ekstruzijo materiala (angl. Material extrusion – MEX) najpogosteje uporabljamo kartezično, h–bot in CoreXY kinematiko. Zasnovali in izdelali smo sodoben 3D-tiskalnik s CoreXY kinematiko. Najprej smo zasnovali 3D-tiskalnik in izbrali najbolj primerne komponente. Nato smo prilagodili program našemu tiskalniku in ga naložili na krmilnik. Testirali smo 3D-tiskalnik in izvedli primerjavo s 3D-tiskalnikom, ki uporablja kartezično kinematiko. Pri tem smo prišli do ugotovitve, da izdelan 3D-tiskalnik dosega večjo natančnost in je v primerjavi s komercialnim 3D-tiskalnikom zasnovan kvalitetnejše.

Title:Building a 3D printer with CoreXY kinematics
Abstract:
3D printers are machines that have experienced a rapid development in the last decade, thus enabling individuals to use them. In 3D printers with material extrusion (MEX), we most often use Cartesian, h–bot and CoreXY kinematics. We designed and manufactured a modern 3D printer with CoreXY kinematics. First, we designed the 3D printer and selected the most suitable components. Then, we adapted the program to our printer and uploaded it to the controller. We tested the 3D printer and compared it with a 3D printer that uses Cartesian kinematics. We came to the conclusion that the manufactured 3D printer achieves greater accuracy and is designed with better quality compared to a commercial 3D printer.
