Abstract
Projekt magistrskega dela predlaga novi program, ki revitalizira gorsko lokacijo projekta-Platak (1361 m. n. v.) in rešuje globalne težave mladih generacij med izobraževanjem. Projekt je postavljen v prihodnji, imaginarni čas (leto X) na lokacijo Platak, ko zimska sezona traja le nekaj dni, in s tem trenutni program smučanja postane neuporaben. Obstoječa zgrajena infrastruktura zimskega programa bo neuporabna, zato se išče nova lokacija za izvajanje programa. Projekt predlaga idejno zasnovo učnega centra na Platku, kjer se rešujejo nekatere globalne težave; mlajše generacije šolsko gradivo razumejo le vizualno; ter ne uporabnost zimske infrastrukture lokacije v prihodnjosti. Srednješolci Reke in okolice bodo brezplačno pri različnih programskih delavnicah centra s svojimi profesorji obravnavali strokovne predmete v času šolskega dneva. Dijaki se bodo učili skozi praktično delo skupaj s svojimi profesorji in lokalno skupnostjo, kjer bodo tudi v stiku s tradicionalnim poklici, ki so danes v virtualnem svetu med mladimi pozabljeni. Prav tako bo projekt dodatno omogočil razvoj prenočišč na Platku, saj je lokacija odprta tudi za zunanje obiskovalce in uporabnike. Ti se lahko udeležijo različnih delavnic, kulturnih prireditev centra ter doživijo zeleno, gorsko lokacijo le 20 minut vožnje stran od obale. S prihodki od prenočišč in z vstopninami od zaključnih kulturnih dogodkov bi se deloma financiralo delovanje centra in ustvaril cilj samo vzdrževalnega projekta.

Title:
School in nature: Conceptual design of a new type of learning center with accommodation on Platak above Rijeka : magistrska naloga
Abstract:
The Master’s project proposes a new program that revitalizes the mountain location of the project - Platak (1361 m.a.s.l.) and solves the global problems of young generations during education. The project is set in an imaginary time (year X) that hit the project location Platak when the winter season lasts only a few days and isn´t useful for the current skiing program. The existing built infrastructure of the winter program will be unusable and a new location program is being sought. The project proposes the conceptual design of a learning center on Platak, where established global problems are solved; younger generations understand the school material only visually and not the usefulness of the location’s winter infrastructure in the future. High school students from Rijeka and the surrounding area wilsl tudy professional subjects with their professors during the school day for free at the center’s various program workshops. Students will also learn through practical work together with their professors and the local community of the location, where they will be in contact with traditional professions that are forgotten among young people today in the virtual world. The project will also enable the development of accommodation facilities in Platak, as an additional program o fthe project because the location is also open to external visitors and users. They can take part in various workshops, cultural events of building and experience a green, mountainous location 20 minutes drive from the coast. The income from lodge and entrance fees for the closing cultural events would partly finance the operation of the center and create the goal of self - sustaining project.
