Abstract
Namen magistrskega dela je postaviti osnovo za razvoj podatkovne baze geotehničih podatkov v slovenskem geotehničnem okolju ter dokazati, da je delo s strukturiranimi podatki oz. podatkovnimi bazami bolj učinkovito kot delo s konvencionalnimi načini rokovanja s podatki. V ta namen je v magistrski nalogi predstavljeno osnovno delovanje podatkovnih baz, pregled obstoječih podatkovnih baz geotehničnih in podobnih podatkov z njihovi protokoli delitve podatkov ter njihovo uporabo. V magistrskem delu je izdelan čistopis geotehničnih podatkov, ki jih delimo na terenske, laboratorijske in vhodne, na podlagi celovitega pregleda standardov in ostalih navodil vsake terenske geotehnične preiskave. Produkt čistopisa je seznam podatkov s pripadajočimi navodili pridobivanja, natančnostjo ter zahtevano enoto, ki jih je potrebno zabeležiti tekom izvajanja geotehnične preiskave. Celoviti pregled je bil zaradi racionalizacije izveden le za terenske preiskave, pri laboratorijskih preiskavah je bil čistopis izdelan le za končne produkte rutinskih laboratorijskih preiskav, vhodni geotehnični podatki so bili omenjeni le pri strukturiranju podatkov in predstavljajo področje za nadaljnji razvoj tematike magistrskega dela. S pomočjo čistopisa ter osnovnih zakonitosti podatkovnih baz je izdelan konceptualni model podatkovne baze geotehničnih podatkov, ki služi kot osnova za vzpostavitev le te. Za potrditev ustreznosti izdelanega konceptualnega modela podatkovne baze smo na njegovi osnovi izdelali testno podatkovno bazo geotehničnih podatkov projekta za potrebe projektiranja in izgradnje dveh objektov, predora Pusta Gora ter viadukta Škale, v okviru izdelave projekta 2 odseka 3 razvojne osi sever, ki jih je izvedlo podjetje IRGO Consulting d.o.o. v letih 2018 do 2021. Končni izdelek magistrskega dela je konceptualni model podatkovne baze geotehničnih podatkov za terenske raziskave, ki je neposredno uporaben ter predstavlja prvi korak korak k nadaljnjem razvoju uporabe podatkovne baze za geotehničnega inženirskega dela.

Title:Development of geotehnical database in geotehnical engineering in Slovenia : master's thesis
Abstract:
The purpose of this master's thesis is to lay the foundation for the development of a geotechnical data database in the Slovenian geotechnical environment and to prove that working with structured data or databases is more efficient than working with conventional data handling methods. To this end, the thesis includes descriptions of basic operation of databases, a review of existing geotechnical and similar data databases with their data sharing protocols and their use. One of the products of the thesis was a structured dataset of geotechnical data, which we can divide into field, laboratory, and input data, based on a comprehensive review of standards and other instructions for each geotechnical investigation. The structured dataset is composed of a list of data with corresponding instructions of acquisition, accuracy, and required unit, which need to be recorded during the geotechnical investigation. The comprehensive review was made only for field investigations, while for laboratory investigations, the structured dataset was made, because of rationalization only for the final products of routine laboratory investigations. Input geotechnical data were mentioned only in data structuring and represent an area for further development of the master's thesis topic. Using the structured dataset and the basic principles of databases, a conceptual model of the geotechnical data database was created, which serves as the basis for its establishment. To confirm the suitability of the created conceptual model of the database, a test geotechnical data database was created based on it for the needs of designing and constructing two structures, the “Pusta Gora” tunnel and the “Škale” viaduct, within the project “2 odsek 3 razvojna os sever«, carried out by IRGO Consulting d.o.o. in the years 2018 to 2021. The final product of the master's thesis is a conceptual model of the geotechnical data database for field investigations, which is directly usable and represents the first step towards further development of the use of the database for geotechnical engineering work.
