The master's thesis addresses the issues and challenges of public procurement procedures. The historical-theoretical part of the thesis includes the definition of key concepts, the history of public procurement, legal regulations, and a description of the bodies and institutions involved in the public procurement process. The analytical part presents the issues of public procurement and provides an international comparison between EU member states.
