Urbanistična zasnova kopališča Slatina in Trga Vladimirja Gortana v Opatiji : magistrsko delo

Magistrsko delo se osredotoča na oblikovanje javnega osrednjega prostora mesta Opatije. Glavni cilj naloge je oživitev prostora z uvedbo programov in izvedbo velikega števila zelenih površin. Projekt temelji na lokaciji kopališča Slatina in trga Vladimirja Gortana na območju, kjer se uporablja zelena in modra infrastruktura. S pomočjo zelene in modre infrastrukture se ustvarja trajnostni javni osrednji prostor, ki omogoča naravno kroženje vode in drugih naravnih virov. Delo obsega analize obravnavanega območja, analize programov ki so neprimerni za lokacijo in širšega območja okoli lokacije. Na podlagi analize je bil izdelan projekt razvoja kopališča in cone trga, ki temelji na izvajanju zelene in modre infrastrukture ter ustvarjanju aktivnega prostora skozi vse letne čase, ne glede na poletno sezono.

Abstract

The master's thesis focuses on the design of the central public space in the city of Opatija. The main goal of the project is to revitalize the area by introducing various programs and implementing a large number of green spaces. The project is based on the location of the Slatina bathing area and Vladimir Gortan Square, where green and blue infrastructure is utilized. With the help of green and blue infrastructure, a sustainable central public space is created, enabling the natural circulation of water and other natural resources. The thesis includes analyses of the area under consideration, evaluations of programs unsuitable for the location, and assessments of the broader surroundings. Based on these analyses, a project for the redevelopment of the bathing area and square zone was created, emphasizing the implementation of green and blue infrastructure and the creation of an active space throughout all seasons, independent of the summer season.
