Abstract
Umetna inteligenca se je v svetu začela širše uporabljati v zadnjih desetletjih, njena vloga pa je spodbudila napredek v razvoju informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije. Umetna inteligenca se postopoma uveljavlja tudi v javni upravi, kar prinaša številne spremembe na delovna mesta in v zaposlitvene procese. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela smo predstavili pojem umetne inteligence, predstavili nekatere nevarnosti in izzive. Podrobneje smo obravnavali primere uporabe umetne inteligence tako po svetu kot tudi v slovenski javni upravi ter na koncu umetno inteligenco povezali s kibernetsko varnostjo. Empirični del dela vključuje pet intervjujev z zaposlenimi v javni upravi, ki delajo v različnih sektorjih in na različnih delovnih mestih. Z njihovo pomočjo smo raziskovali percepcijo zaposlenih glede vpliva umetne inteligence na njihovo delo in prihodnost njihovih delovnih mest. Analiza odgovorov intervjuvancev je pokazala, da so zaposleni v javni upravi na splošno pozitivno naravnani do uvajanja umetne inteligence, vendar so hkrati izrazili skrbi ter možnosti za izboljšave. Med ključnimi izzivi so izpostavili potrebo po prilagoditvi novih tehnologij specifičnim potrebam delovnih mest, pomisleke glede varnosti podatkov in potrebo po dodatnem izobraževanju. Diplomsko delo izpostavi prednosti in slabosti uporabe umetne inteligence v javni upravi, kar navajajo anketiranci. Rezultati raziskave nudijo priporočila za boljše vključevanje umetne inteligence v javno upravo, s poudarkom na usposabljanju zaposlenih in prilagajanju delovnih procesov.

Title:The use of AI in public administration and its impact on jobs
Abstract:
Artificial intelligence has become widely used in recent decades, driving advancements in information and communication technology. AI is gradually being implemented in public administration, leading to significant changes in jobs and employment processes. In the theoretical part of the thesis we presented the concept of AI, highlighting various risks and challenges. We explored the applications of AI worldwide and within the Slovenian public administration, ultimately connecting AI with cybersecurity. The empirical part includes five interviews with public administration employees, aimed at understanding their perceptions of AI's impact on their work and the future of their jobs. The analysis of interview responses revealed that public administration employees generally have a positive attitude toward AI implementation but also expressed concerns and suggested areas for improvement. Key challenges include the need to adapt new technologies to specific job requirements, concerns about data security, and the necessity for additional training. The thesis identifies both the advantages and disadvantages of AI use in public administration, as noted by respondents. The research results offer recommendations for better integration of AI in public administration, emphasizing employee training and the adjustment of work processes.
