Abstract

Title:Experiencing contemporary slovenian poetry or empirical literary interpretation
Abstract:
The master's thesis examines the role of empirical methods in researching the experience of contemporary Slovenian poetry and questions the position of empirical literary interpretation. Using methods of empirical phenomenology and in-depth interviews, the author explores the interaction between the reader and the texts, analyzing the experiential modalities evoked by reading. The findings highlight the poem as a dynamic and multifaceted experience that emerges through the interaction between the text and the reader. The research confirms the significance of empirical literary interpretation and opens space for further studies that would explore the impact of these methods in other literary genres and contexts.

Keywords:contemporary Slovenian poetry, literary interpretation, empirical literary studies, first-person research, empirical phenomenology
