Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava obnovo in avtomatizacijo avtomatskega čelilnika. Namen dela je vzpostaviti cenovno ugodno in uporabniku prijazno rešitev za avtomatizacijo stroja, z uporabo industrijskega krmilnika ter lastno razvite programske opreme. Rešitev omogoča natančno in učinkovito razrezovanje lesenih elementov z optimizacijo izkoristka materiala po več programih, ki so prilagojeni procesu izdelave palet. Pri razvoju so bile dodane potrebne varnostne funkcije. Končni rezultat je delujoč avtomatiziran čelilnik, ki predstavlja stroškovno učinkovito alternativo novim strojem.

Automatic cross-cut saw
Abstract:
The thesis discusses the renovation and automation of an automatic cross-cut saw. The aim of the work is to establish a cost-effective and user-friendly solution for automating the machine using an industrial controller and custom-developed software. The software enables precise and efficient cutting of wooden elements while optimizing material usage. It supports several automated programs adapted to suit production of wooden pallets. Safety procedures were appropriately implemented. The final result is a functional automated cross-cut saw that represents a cost-effective alternative to new machines.
