Abstract
Socialni pedagogi se od leta 1996 vključujejo tudi na delovno mesto izvajalca dodatne strokovne pomoči. Moje delo je namenjeno raziskovanju vloge socialnega pedagoga na tem delovnem mestu, kot se predstavlja in evalvira sam. Raziskujem njegovo prakso kot tako in njegovo mnenje o sistemu, v katerega je vključen. Želim raziskati vlogo socialnega pedagoga kot strokovnjaka na delovnem mestu izvajalca dodatne strokovne pomoči. V teoretičnem delu naloge najprej opredelim inkluzijo in predstavim opredelitve otrok s posebnimi potrebami, kot so opredeljeni v zakonskih in podzakonskih aktih. Sledi obrazložitev pomoči otrokom s težavami in sam postopek usmerjanja otrok s posebnimi potrebami. Obrazložim tudi posamezno usmeritev otrok s posebnimi potrebami, saj je le-to nujno za razumevanje izrazoslovja in težav, ki se jim pridružujejo, in posledično dela, ki ga strokovnjaki opravljajo z njimi. Posvetim se tudi pripravi individualiziranih načrtov in samemu izvajanju dodatne strokovne pomoči, kot je opredeljena v uradnih dokumentih. Osvetlim tudi delo socialnega pedagoga v kontekstu šolstva in natančneje kot izvajalca dodatne strokovne pomoči. V empiričnem delu prek analize polstrukturiranih intervjujev odgovarjam na raziskovalna vprašanja, ki sem si jih zastavila in se navezujejo na oblike dela, ki jih izvajalci uporabljajo, in o tem, s kakšnimi izzivi se soočajo. Posvetim se tudi razumevanju lastne usposobljenosti in ocenjevanju prakse izvajanja dodatne strokovne pomoči v okviru inkluzivnosti, ki je značilna za šolski sistem.

Title:Role of the social pedagogue as a teacher for children with special educational needs in primary school
Abstract:
Social pedagogues have been employed as special needs teachers since 1996. The purpose of my thesis is to explore the role of social pedagogues in this profession, as they represent and evaluate themselves. I am exploring his practice and his opinion of the system of help he is a part of. I wish to explore the role of a social pedagogue as an expert in the profession of a special needs teacher. In the theoretical part of the thesis I first define inclusion and present the classifications of children with special needs, as they are represented in legislative and subordinate acts. The explanation of the continuum of children with special needs follows. I also address the individual classifications as the understanding of the terminology and issues accompanied with them is necessary for understanding the children and the work professionals do with them. I also focus on the preparation of individualized plans for children and the way special educational teaching is defined in official documents. I discuss the work of a social pedagogue in the school context and specifically as a special educational needs’ teacher. In the empirical part, trough the analysis of the half-structured interviews, I answer the research questions that I have set and are related to the forms of work that the teachers use and the challenges they face. I also address the perception of their own competences and evaluation of the practices in the light of inclusive education which is typical of the school system.
