Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava varnost omrežij Wi-Fi, s poudarkom na omejevanju dostopov znotraj omrežja s pomočjo uporabe različnih varnostnih gesel. Z razvojem tehnologije Wi-Fi in naraščajočo uporabo mobilnih naprav, postajajo brezžična omrežja v vsakdanjem življenju nepogrešljiva. V poslovnih okoljih so že uveljavljene napredne varnostne rešitve, medtem ko domača omrežja pogosto uporabljajo le osnovne nastavitve. V nalogi so podrobno predstavljeni predhodni in obstoječi varnostni protokoli. Temu sledi pregled podobnih rešitev, ki so že dostopne uporabnikom. Naloga se zaključi z implementacijo in testiranjem rešitve, kjer se s pomočjo uporabe več različnih varnostnih gesel napravi ob prijavi določi območje dostopa in se ji dostope po potrebi omeji.

Title:Restricting access to parts of a Wi-Fi network using different passphrases
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the security of Wi-Fi networks, with an emphasis on restricting access within the network through the use of different security passwords. With the development of Wi-Fi technology and the increasing use of mobile devices, wireless networks are becoming indispensable in everyday life. Advanced security solutions are already established in business environments, while home networks often use only basic settings. The thesis presents previous and existing security protocols in detail. This is followed by an overview of similar solutions that are already available to users. The thesis concludes with the implementation and testing of a solution where, by using several different security passwords, the access area of a device is determined upon login and access is restricted if necessary.
