The thesis deals with the security of Wi-Fi networks, with an emphasis on restricting access within the network through the use of different security passwords. With the development of Wi-Fi technology and the increasing use of mobile devices, wireless networks are becoming indispensable in everyday life. Advanced security solutions are already established in business environments, while home networks often use only basic settings.
The thesis presents previous and existing security protocols in detail. This is followed by an overview of similar solutions that are already available to users.
The thesis concludes with the implementation and testing of a solution where, by using several different security passwords, the access area of a device is determined upon login and access is restricted if necessary.
