Abstract
Uporabljene so bile mešane raziskovalne metode, vključno z deduktivno metodo, metodo analize in komparativno metodo.

Title:Sustainable development goals and European budget
Abstract:
The thesis examines the impact of European investments on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the framework of Agenda 2030. The aim of the research was to analyze the allocation of financial resources within the European budget and assess their effectiveness in achieving specific goals. The research focuses on key questions, such as the influence of financial resources on SDG progress and the identification of areas requiring greater support. A mixed-method research approach was employed, including deductive, analytical, and comparative methods. Both qualitative and quantitative methods facilitated an in-depth understanding of the impacts of European investments, while comparative analysis highlighted differences among individual goals. The findings reveal significant progress in certain goals, such as poverty reduction (SDG 1) and economic growth (SDG 8), while others, like climate action (SDG 13) and sustainable production (SDG 12), continue to lag behind. The data indicate that merely increasing financial resources is insufficient, but targeted policies are essential. The research contributes to both understanding European investments and shaping strategies for achieving sustainable goals. It emphasizes the importance of more strategic allocation of resources and the involvement of various stakeholders, such as businesses and non-governmental organizations, which can lead to greater efficiency in realizing the Sustainable Development Goals.
