Abstract
Diplomsko delo preučuje različne vidike dela od doma s poudarkom na vplivu tega načina dela na motivacijo zaposlenih. Teoretični del pregleda različne oblike dela na daljavo ter njihove pozitivne in negativne vidike. Posebno pozornost posveča obravnavi notranje, zunanje in prosocialne motivacije ter različnim motivacijskim teorijam s ciljem razumeti, kako te oblike vplivajo na motivacijo zaposlenih pri delu od doma. Empirični del raziskave temelji na kvantitativni metodologiji, pri čemer je bil za zbiranje podatkov uporabljen anketni vprašalnik, izpolnjen s strani zaposlenih, ki delajo od doma predvsem v javnem sektorju. Raziskava se osredotoča na vpliv dela na daljavo na različne oblike motivacije zaposlenih, zlasti na kombinacijo notranje, zunanje in prosocialne motivacije, ki se izkazuje kot ključna za ohranjanje visoke ravni motivacije pri delu na daljavo. Izsledki raziskave, izvedene v diplomskem delu, bodo prispevali k boljšemu razumevanju ključnih motivacijskih dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na uspešnost in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih pri delu na daljavo. Pridobljeni vpogledi bodo dragoceni za menedžerje, ki vodijo oddaljene posameznike in time.

Title:The impact of working from home on employee motivation
Abstract:
The thesis examines various aspects of working from home, with a focus on the impact of this mode of work on employee motivation. The theoretical part reviews different forms of remote work and their positive and negative aspects. More specifically, the thesis explore intrinsic, extrinsic, and prosocial motivation, as well as different motivational theories, with the aim of understanding how these different motivation are related to employee motivation while working from home. The empirical part of the research is based on a quantitative methodology, utilizing a questionnaire filled out by employees working from home, primarily in the public sector. The study focuses on the impact of remote work on various forms of employee motivation, particularly on the combination of intrinsic, extrinsic, and prosocial motivation, which proves to be crucial for maintaining a high level of motivation in remote work settings. The results will contribute to a better understanding of the key motivational factors that affect the effectiveness and satisfaction of employees working remotely. The insights gained will be valuable for managers overseeing remote teams, as well as for organizational behavior y and human resource management who study contemporary work arrangements.
