Abstract
Pri izdelavi novega orodja za brizganje je treba orodje vpeljati v proizvodni proces in program nastaviti do te mere, da lahko proizvodni delavec brez dobrega poznavanja procesa in stroja izdela dobre kose. Na orodju smo zato izvajali preizkuse, kjer smo preverjali njegovo funkcionalnost. Poleg funkcionalnosti orodja je bil glavni cilj, izdelati kos, ki je funkcijsko in mersko ustrezal vsem kupčevim zahtevam. Merilnica v Domelu je izvajala meritve na izdelku in na orodju. Glede na meritve in ugotovitve o funkcionalnosti orodja je orodjarna izvajala popravke na orodju. Popravke na orodju smo testirali s sodelavci ob naslednjih preizkusih. Ko smo bili zadovoljni s funkcionalnostjo orodja in smo izdelali mersko ustrezen kos, smo se posvetili še doseganju stabilnega procesa in optimiziranju časa posameznega cikla. Med procesom brizganja polimerov v orodje je za stabilen proces najbolj pomembna enakomerna distribucija temperature v orodju, ki pa je odvisna od konstrukcije orodja in nastavitev parametrov na stroju. Ugotovili smo, da je zelo pomembno upoštevati priporočila proizvajalca materiala za obdelavo materiala.

Title:Testing the functionality of a new injection tool for injection molding of thermoplastic materials and optimization of the injection molding process
Abstract:
When producing a new tool for injection molding, it is necessary to introduce the tool into the production process and adjust the program to such an extent that a production worker without any good knowledge of the process and the machine can make good parts. Therefore, we conducted tests on the tool to verify its functionality. In addition to the tool’s functionality, the main goal was to produce a part that functionally and dimensionally met all the customer's requirements. The measurement department at Domel carried out measurements on the product and on the tool. Based on the measurements and findings regarding the tool’s functionality, the toolroom made adjustments to the tool. We will test the corrections on the tool with colleagues during the next test. When we are satisfied with the functioning of the tool and we have injected a dimensionally appropriate piece, we will focus on achieving a stable process and optimizing the cycle time. During the process of injecting polymers into the injection molding tool, the most important thing for a stable process is uniform temperature distribution in the tool, which depends on the construction of the tool and the settings of the parameters on the machine. We found out that it is very important to follow the recommendations of the material manufacturer for processing the material.
