For the topic of my master's thesis, I chose the title: From grain mills to paint mills. The subject of the master's thesis is the history of the JUB factory, which strongly influenced life in the municipality of Dol pri Ljubljana. What was the history of the place before the establishment of the JUB factory? How did the company that we know today under the name JUB come into being? What was its history and how did the creation of the factory affect the rural environment of the municipality of Dol pri Ljubljana? What was the fate of the company under different political systems? In the work, I will also describe the current state of the company and the vision after the sale of the company to the new Japanese-australian owner. In my master's thesis, I will attempt to demonstrate that the Jub factory remains important for the development of the local community.
