Zaključna seminarska naloga analizira in primerja islamske in krščanske sakralne spomenike v Jeruzalemu, kot so Kupola na skali, mošeja Al-Aksa, cerkev Božjega groba in cerkev sv. Ane. Poudarek je na njihovem simbolnem pomenu za vernike, vlogi pri romanjih ter arhitekturnih elementih, ki odražajo teološke in kulturne razlike med islamom in krščanstvom. Zaključek prinaša primerjalno analizo teh stavb glede na oblikovne in duhovne značilnosti.

Abstract

The final seminar paper analyses and compares Islamic and Christian sacred monuments in Jerusalem, such as the Dome of the Rock, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the Church of St. Anne. The emphasis is on their symbolic meaning for believers, their role in pilgrimages, and architectural elements that reflect the theological and cultural differences between Islam and Christianity. The conclusion compares these buildings in terms of design and spiritual characteristics.
