This diploma thesis explores the depiction of three archetypes of wild women from the book Women Who Run with the Wolves through analog media. The purpose of the research was to investigate how the use of analog technology can improve the visual interpretation of motifs from a literary work. The focus was on the process of photographing with a homemade large-format analog camera that photographs directly onto paper. The research included the construction of the camera, preparation for photographing, and developing photographs. The results showed that the use of analog media allowed for a greater focus on the technical elements of photography and thus enabled a better visual interpretation of the motifs from the literary work, as it emphasized the complexity and depth of the archetypes. The findings indicate that the choice of analog media is crucial for the final artistic experience and a better representation of the depth of the motifs that the author of the literary work portrays in the book.
