Idejna zasnova ustvarjalne skupnosti za starejše v Šiški

Magistrska naloga se osredotča na problematiko bivanja za starejše. Idejna zasnova temelji na analizi domov za starejše, socialnovarstvenih centrov in bivanja za osebe s posebnimi potrebami. Usmerim se na raziskovanje v Ljubljani in okolici, zato je končni rezultat le ena izmed možnosti reševanja zastavljenega problema. Glavne teme, s katerimi se ukvarjam skozi proces projektiranja, so stres ob selitvi, cenovna nedostopnost bivanja in izoliranost posameznikov. Ugotavljam, da je ustaljena ideja doma za starejše občane le ena izmed mnogih oblik bivanja, namenjena starostnikom in ne nujno najboljša. Pogosto pozabljamo, da imajo osebe znanja, talente in veščine, ki jih lahko vrnejo v skupnost in tako ostajajo njen pomemben gradnik. Zaključim, da je bivanju nujno potrebno dodati spremljevalni program, ki bo spodbujal povezovanje in nudil zaposlitev z jasnim ciljem in namenom. Prinašal naj bi odgovornost in občutek samostojnosti, spodbujal bi ohranjanje kognitivnih in funkcionalnih sposobnosti. V mojem primeru se odločim, da je najprimernješi spremljevalni program gledališko - ustvarjalni center. V njem lahko skupnost ustvarja, kar si prebivalci sami želijo, sokreirajo in se povezujejo, predvsem pa smiselno porabljajo svoj čas. Center jim z zaslužkom sofinancira bivanje, z ustvarjanjem pa nudi obliko kreativne terapije.

• Title: Conceptual design of a creative community for seniors in Šiška

Abstract

The master's thesis focuses on the issue of housing for the elderly. The conceptual design is based on the analysis of homes for the elderly, social care centers and residences for people with special needs. I focus on research in Ljubljana and its surroundings, so the final re- sult represents only one possible approach to solving the problem. The main topics I deal with during the design process are the stress of moving, the unaffordability of housing and the isolation of individuals. I find that the established idea of a home for senior citizens is just one of many forms of living for the elderly and not necessarily the best. Often, people overlook tha valuable knowledge, talents and skills that elderly individuals can offer back to the community, allowing thet to remain an important part of it. I conclude that it is essential to incorporate an ac- companying program into the residence, one that promotes integration and offers employment with a clear purpose and goal. It should bring responsibility and a sense of independence, and promote the preser- vation of cognitive and functional abilities. In my case, the proposed accompanying program is a theater-creative center. In it, the commu- nity can create what they want, co-create and connect, and above all, spend their time meaningfully. The center co-finances their stay with the earnings, and through creation offers a form of creative therapy.
