Abstract
This thesis examines and addresses challenges modern businesses face that rely on warehousing, particularly where items require strict monitoring of warehouse metrics. Inadequate control of metrics such as temperature and humidity often results in suboptimal storage conditions, reducing product shelf life and leading to significant food waste and economic losses. The objective is to research the needs and requirements of such a system, and design and develop an IoT-based monitoring solution integrated with the ERP system Dynamics 365 Business Central, which lacks native functionality for such tasks. The proposed system will enable the acquisition and storage of warehouse metrics data within the ERP, providing users with real-time insights that help identify and address deviations from ideal storage conditions, thereby mitigating losses and enhancing operational efficiency.

Title:Sistem za spremljanje kazalnikov skladiščenja za Microsoft Dynamics 365
Abstract:
Diplomsko delo obravnava izzive, s katerimi se soočajo sodobna podjetja, ki se zanašajo na skladiščenje, zlasti kadar artikli v skladišču zahtevajo strogo spremljanje kazalnikov skladiščenja. Neustrezen nadzor kazalnikov, kot sta temperatura in vlažnost, pogosto povzroči neoptimalne pogoje skladiščenja, kar skrajša rok uporabnosti izdelkov in povzroča velike izgube hrane in ekonomske izgube. Cilj je raziskati potrebe in zahteve takšnega sistema, zasnovati in razviti rešitev za spremljanje kazalnikov na podlagi interneta stvari, integrirano s sistemom ERP Dynamics 365 Business Central, ki nima lastne funkcionalnosti za takšne naloge. Predlagani sistem bo omogočal pridobivanje in shranjevanje podatkov o kazalnikih skladiščenja v sistemu ERP, uporabnikom pa zagotavlja vpogled v realnem času za prepoznavanje in odpravljanje odstopanj od idealnih pogojev skladiščenja, s čimer se zmanjšajo izgube in poveča operativna učinkovitost.
