Labodji spev – vsebinska analiza : preplet besede in napeva

V magistrski nalogi bomo podrobneje spoznavali cikel Schwanengesang (Labodji spev), avtorja Franza Schuberta, vsebino cikla ter pomen in preplet besedila z glasbo. Na začetku se bomo osredotočili na življenje in delo samega skladatelja, potem pa se bomo dotaknili še življenja vseh treh besedilopiscev, kako je njihovo življenje vplivalo na nastanek besedil. V analizi se bomo osredotočili predvsem na povezavo med besedilom in glasbo, raziskovali bomo, kako so samospevi zgrajeni ter spoznali osnovne tehnične lastnosti vsakega samospeva posebej. V slovenskem jeziku tovrstne analize še nismo zasledili, vendar to še ne pomeni, da bomo v tej magistrski nalogi oz. analizi zaobjeli čisto vse, ampak da bomo v slovenskem jeziku analizirali zgolj omenjeno tematiko. Vsaka analiza se med seboj razlikuje, kakor tudi sama izvajalska praksa – vsak, ki bo v roke prijel obravnavani cikel, bo nanj gledal z drugačnimi očmi, kar lahko privede do novih spoznanj in ugotovitev.

• Title: Swan song – content alalysis : magistrska naloga

Abstract

In this Master's degree thesis we will familiorize ourselves with some details of the song cycle Schwanengesang by Franz Schubert, particularly the content of the cycle and the interlacing of lyrics with the music itself. At the beginning we will focus on the life and works of the composer; then we will have a short overwiev of the lives of all three lyricists and how that influenced the creation of their poetry. In this analysis we will focus mainly on the connection between the lyrics (poetry) and music, we will explore how the songs are constructed and we will get to know more about the basic technical characteristics for each individual song. There is no such analysis in the Slovene language as of yet; however, this does not mean that we will be conducting the whole basic analysis - we will only focus on the afore mentioned content analysis in the Slovene language. Analysis differ from one another just as performance practices differ – every individual who will take this song cycle in their hands will look at it in a different way and so they may come to different realizations and conlcusions.
