Abstract
Veliko tekstila so namreč izvažali v Italijo.

Title:Economic development and structure of Radovljica
Abstract:
Radovljica is a town in the Gorenjska region of Slovenia, first mentioned as a market town in 1333. The town's economic development was not strongly supported by locational factors. The tradition of livestock farming led to the development of the woolen trade, and later to the textile industry. Beekeeping has always been important to this area. A significant milestone in Radovljica's development was the construction of the Gorenjska Railway in 1884, which improved connections with other regions and countries. A large amount of textile products were exported to Italy. Radovljica has always played the role of a central hub within the municipality, which is why there is not much industry in the settlement. The companies that have chosen to locate in Radovljica are generally small in size. Radovljica also serves an educational function, as there are secondary schools in the town. Most companies in Radovljica are service-oriented, although primary activities can still be found today. Tourism is important for the town's development, and the municipality places a strong emphasis on it. Tourism has developed mainly due to the proximity of popular destinations such as Bled, Šobec, and Brezje.
