Abstract
Diplomsko delo zajema opis nadgradnje varnosti hidravlične stiskalnice na praktičnem primeru. Stiskalnice morajo biti ustrezno varnostno načrtovane, saj so to zmogljivi stroji, ki lahko povzročijo resne poškodbe v primeru neustrezne zasnove. Uvodoma so predstavljene zakonodaje in standardi na področju varnosti. Z upoštevanjem standardov dosegamo skladnost stroja z zakonodajo (pravilniki oziroma direktivami). Poleg direktiv in standardov je predstavljeno učinkovito programsko orodje za izračun ravni zmogljivosti, ki bistveno olajša in prihrani čas pri računanju. Za lažje razumevanje programa so opisani postopki, ki jih je potrebno upoštevati za dosego želenega cilja. Osrednji del diplomskega dela se navezuje na obstoječo hidravlično stiskalnico, kjer je opisana prvotna varnostna problematika in so predstavljeni ukrepi za izboljšanje. V zadnjem delu je opis določitve zahtevane ravni zmogljivosti in izračun dosežene ravni s pomočjo standarda EN ISO 13849-1. S postopkom validacije je preverjena zanesljivost varnostnih funkcij skladno s standardom EN ISO 13849-2. Načrtovani cilj naloge je, da se s pomočjo upoštevanja ustreznih standardov in direktiv nadgradi varnost stiskalnice, da bo primerna za uporabo in zagotoviti skladnost stroja s predpisi veljavnimi na področju EU (domneva o skladnosti).

Title:Upgrading the safety of the pressing machine in accordance with the requirements of the standards
Abstract:
The thesis describes the safety upgrade of a hydraulic press on a practical example. Hydraulic presses must be properly designed for safety, as they are powerful machines that can cause serious injuries if not designed properly. In the introduction, legislation and standards in the field of safety are presented. By observing these standards, we achieve compliance of the machine with legislation (rules or directives). In addition to directives and standards, the thesis presents an efficient software tool for calculating performance levels, which significantly simplifies and saves time during the calculation process. For easier understanding of the software, the necessary procedures to achieve the desired objective are described. The central part of the thesis is related to the existing hydraulic press, describing the initial safety issues and the proposed measures to improve its safety. The final part explains the determination of the required performance level and the calculation of the achieved level using the EN ISO 13849-1 standard. Using the validation process, the reliability of safety functions was verified in accordance with the EN ISO 13849-2 standard. The aim of the thesis is to improve the safety of the hydraulic press by applying relevant standards and directives to a level that makes it suitable for use and to ensure compliance of the machine with the regulations in force in the EU (presumption of conformity).
