The paper presents an analysis of Šolar, a corpus of school essays. The aim of the analysis was to explore the potential of using the corpus data to create education-oriented language resources (e.g. a school dictionary) and corresponding didactic material. In the study, the verbs and pronouns in the corpus that teachers have corrected most frequently are analysed. The results are evaluated in terms of their relevance to the creation of the above-mentioned resources, and in the discussion, some possibilities for the implementation of the results are highlighted.
