Prostor skupnosti v objemu Pece : idejna zasnova novega hostla in revitalizacija Trga svobode v Mežici : magistrsko delo

Zaključno delo se ukvarja z revitalizacijo Trga svobode v Mežici in izgradnjo novega hostla. Mežica je rudarski kraj, ki ima s svojimi naravnimi danostmi veliko potenciala za razvoj športnega (kolesarskega, pohodniškega, ...) turizma. Poseg predlaga krajinsko ureditev obstoječega trga tako, da z novimi nivoji trg pripelje bližje obiskovalcu ga poveže s pritličji javnega programa. Naloga natančneje obravnava tri obstoječe objekte, v katere nanizam programe javnega značaja, ki bi oživeli staro mežiško mestno jedro. Obstoječa občina se razširi v zgornji dve nadstropji, zapuščena večdružinska hiša se z novim prizidkom razvije v mladinski center, na mestu nekdanjega hotela, ki je bil spremenjen v večstanovanjski objekt pa se zasnuje lesen hostel. Trg zaokroži še lesen prireditveni paviljon, ki je namenjen potrebam kraja in turizma.

Abstract

The final work deals with the revitalization of Trg svobode in Mežica and the construction of a new hostel. Mežica is a mining town, with its natural features, has great potential for the development of sports (cycling, hiking, etc.) tourism. The intervention proposes the landscaping of the existing square in such a way that, with new levels, it brings the square closer to visitor and connects it with the ground floors of public programs. The task specifically addresses three existing buildings, into which it sequences programs of a public nature that would revive the old Mežica town center.The existing town house is expanded into the upper two floors, an abandoned multi-family house is developed into a youth center with a new extension, and on a site of the former hotel, that was converted into an apartment building, a new wooden hostel is designed. The square is completed with a wooden event pavilion, which is intended to meet the needs of the town and tourism.
