Vloga in naloge učitelja v bolnišnični šoli : magistrsko delo

Abstract
Razredni učitelj lahko delo opravlja tudi v bolnišničnih oddelkih, kjer dnevno prihajajo in odhajajo otroci z različnimi bolezenskimi stanji. Bolnišnični učitelji predstavljajo ključno vlogo pri šolskem delu učenca v bolnišnici, hkrati pa mu nudijo tudi podporne dejavnosti in pogovor, ki učencu pomagajo v času hospitalizacije. Namen magistrskega dela je raziskati, kakšna je vloga bolnišničnega učitelja in kakšne naloge ima. V teoretičnem delu sem pregledala obstoječo literaturo in predstavila začetke bolnišnične šole, bolnišnične šole v mednarodnem kontekstu, zgodovinski pregled razvoja bolnišnične šole, bolezen in hospitalizacijo, šolsko delo hospitaliziranih učencev ter vlogo njihovih staršev, vlogo in naloge učiteljev – bolnišničnih učiteljev in učiteljev na matični šoli in vzgojno-izobraževalno delo v bolnišnični šoli. V empiričnem delu sem s pomočjo intervjujev, ki sem jih izvedla z učitelji razrednega pouka, ki so zaposleni v bolnišnici, in z učitelji razrednega pouka, ki so zaposleni v osnovni šoli in imajo izkušnje s hospitaliziranim učencem oz. učenci, raziskovala organizacijo in načrtovanje vzgojno-izobraževalnega dela v bolnišnici, preprečevanje prekinitve šolskega dela in trenutno ter želeno sodelovanje bolnišničnih učiteljev z učitelji matične šole. Končni cilj je zbrati spoznanja, ki bodo učiteljem razrednega pouka pomagala, če oz. ko bodo imeli hospitaliziranega učenca.

Title:Role and tasks of the teacher in the hospital school
Abstract:
Class teachers can teach in hospital wards, where children with different medical conditions are admitted to and discharged from daily. Hospital school teachers play a key role in the schooling of pupils admitted to a hospital, while offering supporting activities and opportunities for conversation, which alleviate pupils' hospitalisation. The aim of this master's thesis is to study the role of hospital school teachers and their tasks. In the theoretical part, I will review existing literature, present the beginnings of hospital school and hospital schools in the international context, provide a historical overview of its development, portray disease and hospitalisation, and describe the schooling of hospitalised pupils and the role of their parents, the role and tasks of hospital school teachers and home school teachers, and educational efforts in hospital schools. In the empirical part, I will carry out interviews with class teachers working at a hospital and class teachers working at a primary school who have experience teaching hospitalised pupils to study the organisation and planning of educational efforts in a hospital, efforts to prevent schooling interruption, and current and desired cooperation of hospital school teachers with home school teachers. The ultimate goal is to gather insights that could support class teachers if or when teaching hospitalised pupils.
