Abstract
Spremembe okoljskih in družbenih izzivov zahtevajo prehod na trajnostne pristope tudi v izobraževalnih institucijah. Magistrsko delo obravnava vpliv dejavnikov na trajnostno naravnanost visokošolskih zavodov. Analizira vpliv dejavnikov osebnih trajnostnih prepričanj in dejavnikov trajnostne naravnanosti članice na vključevanje zaposlenih v trajnostne dejavnosti članic Univerze v Ljubljani. Raziskava temelji na kvantitativni metodologiji in uporabi anketnega vprašalnika. Statistične metode, ki so bile uporabljene, vključujejo deskriptivno statistiko za osnovno analizo podatkov, faktorsko analizo za preverjanje ustreznosti konceptualnega modela, linearno regresijo za analizo povezav med spremenljivkami ter ANOVA test za primerjavo med različnimi skupinami. Rezultati raziskave kažejo pozitivno trajnostno naravnanost članic, ki se najbolj izraža skozi spodbujanje k strpnosti, recikliranje odpadkov, strmenju k družbeni blaginji in varčevanju z energijo in viri na eni strani ter s promocijo trajnostnih raziskav, vključevanjem trajnosti v študijske programe in spodbujanjem sodelovanja z drugimi univerzami na drugi strani. Dejavniki trajnostne naravnanosti na članicah vplivajo na sodelovanje zaposlenih v trajnostnih dejavnostih znotraj članice. Raziskava identificira sodelovanje zaposlenih pri trajnostnih aktivnostih, sodelovanje članic s podjetji na področju trajnosti ter spodbujanje trajnostnih oblik prevoza na delo kot področja, kjer so potrebne izboljšave. Ocena dejavnikov trajnostne naravnanosti med članicami razkriva razlike v pristopih k spodbujanju trajnosti, hkrati pa kaže visoka osebna trajnostna prepričanja zaposlenih na vseh članicah. Delo k stroki prispeva z zasnovanim konceptualnim modelom za oceno dejavnikov trajnostne naravnanosti in predstavlja potencialno vodilo za analizo tudi na drugih slovenskih visokošolskih zavodih. Ugotovitve dopolnjujejo teorijo v kontekstu slovenskega visokošolskega prostora in ponujajo priporočila za vzpostavitev učinkovitega načina merjenja trajnostne naravnanosti visokošolskih zavodov.

Title:Sustainable development at the university of ljubljana from the perspective of the faculties
Abstract:
Changes in environmental and social challenges necessitate the adoption of sustainable approaches, even within educational institutions. This master's thesis examines the impact of various factors on the sustainability orientation of higher education institutions. It analyzes the influence of personal sustainability beliefs and the sustainability orientation of university members on the involvement of employees in sustainability activities at the University of Ljubljana members. The research is based on a quantitative methodology using a survey questionnaire. Statistical methods employed include descriptive statistics for basic data analysis, factor analysis to validate the conceptual model, linear regression for analyzing relationships between variables, and ANOVA tests for comparing different groups. The results indicate a positive sustainability orientation among university members, reflected most prominently in encouraging tolerance, waste recycling, striving for social well-being, and conserving energy and resources. This is complemented by promoting sustainable research, integrating sustainability into study programs, and fostering collaboration with other universities. Sustainability orientation factors within university members influence employee participation in sustainability activities at the institution. The research identifies areas for improvement, including employee engagement in sustainability activities, collaboration between institutions and businesses on sustainability, and promoting sustainable commuting options. An assessment of sustainability orientation factors among university members reveals differences in approaches to promoting sustainability while highlighting strong personal sustainability beliefs among employees across all institutions. The thesis contributes to the field by designing a conceptual model for assessing sustainability orientation factors, offering a potential framework for analysis in other Slovenian higher education institutions. The findings enrich the theoretical understanding within the context of Slovenian higher education and provide recommendations for establishing an effective method for measuring the sustainability orientation of higher education institutions.
