Interes dijakov za praktični pouk in terensko delo pri pouku biologije

Abstract
V sklopu magistrskega dela smo raziskovali vpliv spola, letnika šolanja, ocene pripredmetu biologija in nadaljnje izbire študija na stališča dijakov do biologije, praktičnega in terenskega dela. Anketni vprašalnik so izpolnjevali dijaki prvega, drugega in tretjega letnika ene izmed gimnazij v Ljubljani. V prvem delu smo pridobili podatke, kot so spol, letnik šolanja, ocena pri biologiji in izbira nadaljnjega študija. V drugem delu vprašalnika smo preverjali stališča dijakov do biologije kot znanosti, biologije kot šolskega predmeta, pouka biologije in osebnega interesa do naravoslovja in naravoslovnih študijev. V tretjem in četrtem sklopu pa smo preverjali stališča in situacijski interes dijakov do praktičnega dela in terenskega pouka. Podatke smo analizirali s programom SPSS. Ugotovili smo, da spol ne vpliva na stališča dijakov do biologije in praktičnega dela, le pri terenskem delu se je izkazalo, da imajo dekleta bolj pozitivna stališča, višji situacijski interes pa fantje. Stališča do biologije z višanjem letnika padajo, medtem ko stališča do praktičnega dela in terenskega pouka ostajajo enaka. Dijaki z višjo oceno pri biologiji in dijaki, ki se nameravajo vpisati na naravoslovne študije, imajo bolj pozitivna stališča do biologije in do praktičnega pouka. Stališča dijakov do terenskega pouka in njihov situacijski interes se ne razlikujejo glede na oceno ali izbiro študija.

Title:Upper secondary school students' interest in practical and fieldwork in biology teaching
Abstract:
As part of our master’s thesis, we researched the impact of gender, year of schooling, grades in biology, and future study choices on students’ attitudes towards biology, practical work, and fieldwork. The survey was completed by students in the first, second, and third year of a high school in Ljubljana. In the first part, we collected data such as gender, year of schooling, grade in biology, and choice of further studies. In the second part of the questionnaire, we examined students’ attitudes towards biology as a science, biology as a school subject, biology lessons, and personal interest in natural sciences and natural science studies. In the third and fourth sections, we assessed students’ attitudes and situational interest in practical work and fieldwork. The data was analysed by using the SPSS software. We found that gender does not influence students’ attitudes towards biology and practical work, but for fieldwork, girls showed more positive attitudes, while boys had higher situational interests. Students’ attitudes towards biology decline as they progress through the school years, while their attitudes towards practical work and fieldwork remain unchanged. Students with higher grades in biology and those planning to pursue studies in natural sciences have more positive attitudes towards biology and practical work. Students’ attitudes and situational interest in fieldwork do not differ based on grades or study choices
