Abstract
V sklopu zaključnega dela smo želeli zasnovati zadnji spojler za specifični osebni avtomobil s poudarkom na performancah. Že obstoječo izvedbo spojlerja smo računsko in eksperimentalno analizirali, ter na podlagi ugotovitev določili novo obliko, ki je bolj učinkovita. Teoretični model smo 3D natisnili v pomanjšanem merilu, ter analizirali njegovo funkcionalnost v vetrovniku. Izvedli smo tudi simulacije s pomočjo računalniške dinamike fluidov. Izdelek smo primerjali s tovarniškim spojlerjem in poprodajnim prostostoječim spojlerjem. Na podlagi rezultatov smo izdelali prototip v polni velikosti, ki je primeren za praktično uporabo.

Title:Design of an automotive rear spoiler
Abstract:
As part of this thesis, we wanted to design an automotive rear spoiler for a specific vehicle, with an emphasis on performance. We analysed the shape of the vehicle's existing spoilerboth computationally and experimentally, and based on the findings, determined a more efficient design. The new design was 3D printed on a smaller scale, after which we analyzed its functionality in a wind tunnel. We also carried out simulations through computational fluid dynamics. We compared our product to the aforementioned existing spoiler as well as an aftermarket free-standing wing. A full-size prototype, suitable for practical use was made, based on the results of testing.
