Posodobitev letališča Slovenj Gradec za vojaške potrebe

Letališče Slovenj Gradec je športno letališče na severovzhodu Slovenije. S trenutno infrastrukturo ne dosega zahtev za nastanitev vojske. Z ustrezno posodobitvijo infrastrukture, vzletno-pristajalne steze in namestitvijo navigacijskega sredstva pa bi letališče lahko postalo pomembna vojaška strateška točka. Analiza obstoječe infrastrukture je pokazala, da bi bilo pri posodobitvi letališča treba dograditi hangar, parkirne ploščadi z zaščitnimi nasipi, kontrolni stolp ter infrastrukturo za shranjevanje goriva. Prav tako bi bilo treba nadgraditi trenutno vozno stezo, hangar in skladišče. Z namenom omogočanja varnega pristajanja težjih letal Slovenske vojske bi bilo treba tudi podaljšati vzletno-pristajalno stezo. Poleg tega bi bila za izboljšanje navigacijskih zmogljivosti najbolj primerna implementacija PBN-procedure za pristajanje.

• Title: Upgrade of Slovenj Gradec Airport for military needs

Abstract

Slovenj Gradec Airport is a sports airfield located in the northeast of Slovenia. With its current infrastructure, it does not meet the requirements for military accommodation. However, with proper upgrades to the infrastructure, the runway, and the installation of a navigation system, the airport could become an important military strategic point. The analysis of the existing infrastructure showed that upgrading the airport would require building a hangar, parking aprons with protective embankments, a control tower, and fuel storage infrastructure. It would also be necessary to upgrade the current taxiway, hangar, and storage facilities. To enable safe landings for heavier Slovenian military aircraft, the runway would need to be extended. Additionally, the best solution for improving navigation capabilities would be to implement PBN procedures for landing.
