Abstract
Vzdrževanje letal je ključnega pomena, da se zagotovi varnost potnikov in posadke, ter plovnost zrakoplova. Uporaba brezpilotnih letalnikov za vizualni pregled letal izboljšuje natančnost in hitrost pregledov, zmanjšuje čas neoperativnosti letal ter povečuje varnost vzdrževalcev. Brezpilotni letalniki zajamejo visokoločljivostne slike okoli letala, iz katerih se izdela 3 dimenzionalen model z uporabo fotogrametrije. Želja je dosedanji proces izboljšati, poenostaviti, pohitriti in predvsem povečati stopnjo varnosti. V diplomski nalogi smo najprej preučili dosedanje rešitve in težave vizualnih pregledov. Nato smo vam predstavili proces izdelave 3 dimenzionalnega modela z uporabo fotogrametrične programske opreme. Izdelan 3D model ni bil dovolj kakovosten, da bi lahko na njem izvajali vizualni pregled. Ugotovili smo, da na ta način uveljavljenega postopka vizualnega pregleda ne moremo nadomestiti, kljub skrajšanju časa pregleda. Na koncu pa smo predstavili še možnosti nadaljnje dodelave in uporabe.

Title:Aircraft visual inspection with the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle
Abstract:
Aircraft maintenance is essential to ensure the safety of passengers and crew, and the airworthiness of the aircraft. The use of drones to visually inspect aircraft improves the accuracy and speed of inspections, reduces aircraft downtime and increases the safety of maintainers. Drones capture high-resolution images around the aircraft, from which a 3 dimensional model is built using photogrammetry. The desire is to improve the current process, simplify it, speed it up and, above all, increase the level of safety. In this thesis we firstly examined the solutions and problems of visual inspections so far. Then we presented the process of creating a 3 dimensional model using photogrammetric software. The quality of 3D model was not sufficient enough for visual inspection needs. We have found that the current visual inspection process cannot be replaced, despite the reduction in inspection time. Finally, we presented the possibilities for further refinement and application.
