Abstract
Projekti razvoja programske opreme so tipično precej kompleksni in zelo dovzetni za neuspeh, zato je pomen uporabe metod projektnega vodenja pri razvoju programske opreme vedno večji. Mala do srednje velika podjetja veljajo za hrbtenico evropske ekonomije in rasti - ter posledično slovenske, vendar pa njihove specifične značilnosti in omejeni viri spodbujajo k uporabi različnih orodij in metod v primerjavi z velikimi podjetji. Predvsem v malih in srednje velikih podjetjih, je obvladovanje tveganj pri projektih zelo slabo preučeno. Cilj magistrskega dela je zapolniti manjko v litera- turi obvladovanja tveganj slovenskih podjetjih, ki se ukvarjajo z razvojem programske opreme, ugotoviti katera tveganja so najbolj problematična v vsaki od štirih dimenzij tveganja; (Tehnična, Organizacijska, Finančna ter Uporabniška), ter pripraviti priporočila, kako se jim zoperstaviti.

Title:Risk management in software development in Slovenia
Abstract:
The development of software projects is typically quite complex and highly prone to failure. Therefore, the importance of using project management methods in software development is continually increasing. Small to medium-sized enterprises are considered the backbone of the European economy and growth, and consequently, the Slovenian economy. However, their specific characteristics and limited resources encourage the use of different tools and methods compared to large enterprises. Risk management in projects, particularly in small and medium-sized enterprises, is poorly studied. The aim of this master’s thesis is to fill the gap in the literature on risk management in Slovenian companies involved in software development, to identify which risks are most problematic in each of the four risk dimensions (Technical, Organizational, Financial, and User), and to provide recommendations on how to address them.
