The thesis represents digitalization of the Slovenian public sector before and after the covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of the work is to find out how and in what way it takes place in Slovenia. Based on the selected literature, the work summarizes the basic concept of digitization and describes the factors influencing its development, with an emphasis on the influence of the human factor. Work represents selected indices witch measureing the level of digitalization in the country.
In the research part, presents whether the digitalization of public sector in Slovenia has strengthened in recent years. Furthere are presents reasults, which gives us informations about using public services online in Slovenia. Based on the indices, the work compares Slovenia with the rest of the countries in the European Union. In the following is answered the question of what influence the human factor has on digitalization.
Based on a review of selected literature, a review of digitization indices and own research, the work presents where Slovenia currently stands in the field of digitalization of the public sector and compares the situation with other European countries. The findings and presented limitations of the research can represent guidelines for further research and the possibilities of how and in what way, given foreign good practices, Slovenia can develop in the field of digital transition.
