Abstract
Magistrsko delo se osredotoča na problem osamljenosti med starejšimi prebivalci občine Črna na Koroškem. Raziskava preučuje, kako starejši doživljajo osamljenost v kontekstu sprememb, ki jih prinaša staranje. V teoretičnem delu so obravnavani različni vidiki staranja in kako osamljenost vpliva na zdravje in kakovost življenja starejših. Empirični del temelji na kvalitativni raziskavi, v kateri je sodelovalo osem udeležencev, starih 65 let ali več, ki živijo sami v omenjeni občini. Rezultati raziskave poudarjajo ključni pomen krepitve socialnih mrež in spodbujanja medgeneracijskega sodelovanja za zmanjševanje osamljenosti. Na podlagi ugotovitev delo predlaga več ukrepov, med katerimi so izboljšanje medgeneracijskih odnosov, zagotavljanje tehnološke podpore starejšim, ozaveščanje o problemu osamljenosti, nadgradnja podpornih služb na domu in spodbujanje aktivnega staranja. Ta študija pomembno prispeva k razumevanju osamljenosti starejših v ruralnem okolju Slovenije. Njene ugotovitve in predlogi lahko služijo kot osnova za oblikovanje učinkovitih intervencij in politik, namenjenih izboljšanju kakovosti življenja starejših.

Title:Loneliness of the Elderly
Abstract:
This master's thesis focuses on the problem of loneliness among elderly residents of the municipality of Črna na Koroškem. The research examines how older people experience loneliness in the context of changes brought about by aging. The theoretical part discusses various aspects of aging and how loneliness affects the health and quality of life of the elderly. The empirical part is based on qualitative research involving eight participants aged 65 or older who live alone in the mentioned municipality. The research results emphasize the key importance of strengthening social networks and promoting intergenerational cooperation to reduce loneliness. Based on the findings, the thesis proposes several measures, including improving intergenerational relationships, providing technological support to the elderly, raising awareness about the problem of loneliness, upgrading home support services, and promoting active aging. This study significantly contributes to understanding the loneliness of the elderly in the rural environment of Slovenia. Its findings and suggestions can serve as a basis for designing effective interventions and policies aimed at improving the quality of life of the elderly.
