This thesis was born out of the idea of exploring the topic of women in nautical. We know that this topic has had its own flow and dynamics throughout history. The purpose of the assignment is to present this topic chronologically with the theoretical part, from superstition and the prohibition of navigation for women, their important role in the Second World War, to the present day, when women, perhaps with small but important steps, take their place in the seafaring, right next to their male colleagues. In addition to the theoretical assignment, it also contains a research part that will complete the whole.
