The thesis focuses on the creation of an infographic to depict the development of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering at the University of Ljubljana. The goal of the thesis was to produce an informative and visually appealing infographic that clearly and effectively presents the history of the faculty.
The methods used included gathering data from various sources and organizing it in chrono-logical order. The data was initially collected and arranged in spreadsheets which served as a foundation for the creation of the infographic. The production process was divided into three stages: data selection and analysis, determining the size of the infographic, and the actual de-sign of the infographic.
The experimental part involved the creation of an infographic that highlights key events in the faculty’s development, using visual, graphic, and typographic elements, such as typography, lines, icons, images, color schemes, and spacing between elements.
